Job summary

Firmable Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced QA automation engineer to own end-to-end testing across web app components. You will build and maintain Playwright suites, implement AI-assisted testing strategies, and ensure reliable synthetic monitoring with effective data management.

You will collaborate with engineering and product teams, push for robust test design, and drive quality gates into CI/CD pipelines, while communicating clear bug reports and test results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of test automation experience with Playwright in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Solid test design skills: page objects, test strategy, parallelism, retries.
• Experience with API testing and CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Hands-on AI in testing: generated/maintained AI-assisted tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Playwright regression suites for multiple app areas.
• Configure synthetic monitoring and alerting; manage journey health and SLOs.
• Build CI/CD gates and analyze failures in pre-prod deployments.
• Manage test data with isolation and repeatability.
• Lead AI-assisted testing initiatives and evaluate agentic testing frameworks.
• Publish regression reports for engineers and product managers.
