Job summary

Stan, part of Nine Entertainment Co., is seeking a Senior Publicist on a 13-month maternity cover contract to lead publicity for Stan’s Entertainment slate. You will manage media outreach, press materials, events, and talent interviews across the Nine Group network in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in PR for entertainment, strong media relationships, and a proven track record of high-impact earned coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in PR, publicity and communications in the entertainment industry.
• Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape and ability to leverage editorial opportunities.
• Proven track record of delivering high-impact earned media and managing multiple campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop long and short-lead publicity campaigns for Stan’s Entertainment slate, maximising earned media opportunities.
• Execute editorial opportunities across the Nine Group network to amplify Stan’s content and brand reach.
• Lead day-to-day publicity delivery: media pitching, press releases, media alerts, talent interviews, photoshoots and events.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximise opportunities for the business.
• Monitor campaign performance and share insights to optimise future campaigns.
