Job summary

Melbourne Airport is seeking an experienced Property Program Manager to join our Ground Transport, Property & Retail team. You will lead property and infrastructure projects from feasibility through to delivery across a diverse portfolio.

You will partner with Property Development and technical specialists to translate opportunities into commercially sound, deliverable projects while balancing operational demands in a complex live environment. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in property development or infrastructure programs.
• Strong front-end lifecycle experience: feasibility, business case, planning.
• Ability to challenge assumptions and optimise scope and cost.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience in complex 24/7 operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead property and infrastructure projects from feasibility through handover.
• Translate opportunities into clearly scoped, commercially viable projects.
• Support planning of new precincts including enabling infrastructure.
• Provide strong commercial oversight across projects to optimise value.
• Lead multidisciplinary consultants, engineers, designers and contractors.
• Develop budgets, cost plans and business cases for governance approvals.
• Manage procurement strategies and contractor engagements.
• Balance commercial, operational and stakeholder requirements across a diverse portfolio.
• Build relationships across Property, Planning, Infrastructure and Operations.
• Ensure projects are planned and delivered safely within a live 24/7 environment.
• Support tenant-led developments including warehouse and precinct infra.
