Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks an experienced Scheduler in Spence, Chile, delivering non-routine scheduling for mining/metals projects. You will establish stakeholder relationships, perform schedule analyses, and integrate activities to drive seamless execution.

The role requires strong knowledge of Primavera P6, project controls, and risk analysis, with fluency in English and Spanish for effective cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or related discipline; 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of experience.
• Proven experience in planning and scheduling for large EPC, mining, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating non-routine scheduling needs to projects.
• Coordinating with all departments to ensure understanding of total project schedule needs.
• Conducting project schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine criticality of schedule activities.
• Collecting and analyzing alternatives for schedule improvement.
• Assisting in the development and review of schedule recovery plans and evaluating resources/costs.
• Coordinating the development and accuracy of cost reports.
• Preparing specific budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
• Leading risk workshops, interviews and information gathering related to risk identification, review, and update.
• Carrying out risk quantification activities as required.
• Delivering training sessions and facilitating workshops.
