Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Spence, Chile, seeks a senior Scheduler to manage non-routine scheduling for major projects. You will build stakeholder relationships, perform schedule analyses, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction to deliver integrated plans.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or a related discipline.
• 8–14 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling on large EPC, mining, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience with Primavera P6 and project controls methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating non-routine scheduling needs to projects.
• Coordinating with all departments to ensure understanding of total project schedule needs.
• Conducting project schedule analysis and studies to determine criticality of schedule activities.
• Collecting and analyzing alternatives for schedule improvement.
• Assisting, when requested, in the development and review of schedule recovery plans, including evaluation of additional resources/costs required to affect such plans.
• Coordinating the development and accuracy of cost reports.
• Preparing specific budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
• Leading risk workshops, interviews and information gathering as it relates to risk identification, review, and update.
• Carrying out risk quantification activities as required.
• Delivering training sessions and facilitating workshops.
