Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an experienced Execution Engineer for the Spence site in Chile. You will provide expertise in pre-commissioning, commissioning, isolation and LOTO management to ensure safe construction and operations.

You will coordinate, plan and execute energy control strategies, working with construction, CSU and operations to meet schedule and cost targets. Strong leadership in safety and technical judgement is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires professional or technical training in Execution Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Processes or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning or operations (or 9–12 years of related work experience).
• Experience in mining or industrial facilities with energy isolation and blocking activities.
• Experience drafting and implementing insulation plans, work permits, LOTO, zero-energy testing and safe system restoration.

Responsibilities

• Supports CSU planning and execution activities, sequence planning and resource requirements.
• Prepares isolation plans and coordinates blockings, locking devices and energy control documentation.
• Participates in turnover walks and ensures safe transfer of systems during commissioning and operation.
• Maintains records of permits, lockouts and energy restorations, and ensures compliance with procedures.
