Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Technical Services in Canberra. The role leads establishing success criteria, governance, and cross-functional coordination for complex building services projects.

The position requires a tertiary engineering or PM qualification and at least 3 years of autonomous project delivery experience with senior support, in a dynamic real estate, infrastructure or related setting.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering field or project management.
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience delivering autonomous projects with senior support.

Responsibilities

Establish overall success criteria for time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment on projects.
Identify and manage risks.
Establish project governance, processes and systems for the project.
Plan the project and produce a detailed project plan.
Advise on procurement of contractors and consultants.
Coordinate with the cross-functional project team.
Manage the change control process.
Monitor and advise on project finances.
Facilitate information flow between team and client via meetings and reports.
Produce formal project progress and other reports.
Interface with client and consultants at all stages.
Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and reporting.
