Job summary

UGL - Projects - New Energy seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead construction and delivery of large-scale energy infrastructure projects in Australia. You will own project delivery from construction to execution, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and quality within budget.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders and drive performance with a strong focus on safety and operational excellence across renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in construction or infrastructure project delivery with leadership.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in power/industrial environments.
• Relevant degree in Engineering, Construction/PM or related discipline.
• Strong commercial acumen and project controls experience.
• Knowledge of HSEQ regulations and construction industry standards.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proven coaching and development of high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site construction activities to achieve objectives across safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commercial and logistics teams for seamless execution.
• Manage project resources including workforce planning, subcontractors, plant and equipment.
• Monitor progress, budgets and performance metrics with corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional service.
• Participate in project reviews and provide input into tenders and future opportunities.
• Drive a culture of safety and compliance with HSE policies and regulations.
• Lead, mentor and develop project teams to maximise performance.
• Ensure effective communication, stakeholder management and collaboration across teams.
• Champion continuous improvement and best-practice project delivery.
