Job summary

The City of Perth is seeking an ICT Project Officer to support the delivery of digital transformation projects. You will assist the ICT Project Manager with project coordination, scheduling, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and project administration to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery within governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities include developing and updating project plans, analyzing business issues, liaising with stakeholders, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of project management methods and governance.
• Experience with MS Project, Jira and DevOps.
• Strong written and verbal communication and project documentation.
• Qualifications or training in project management, e.g. PRINCE2.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in developing, reviewing and modifying project plans, ensuring timelines, budget and deliverables are accurately tracked;
• Undertaking research and analysis of existing business issues, policies and procedures to identify trends and provide recommendations for consideration by the project;
• Liaising with key stakeholders of the project to ensure stakeholder requirements are met, including participation in negotiations;
• Ensuring projects are properly maintained and updated for successful delivery in accordance with the City’s project management governance and framework procedures/practices
