Job summary

The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's regulator for building and plumbing. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new HRIS and payroll platform, overseeing all project phases from planning and procurement through to implementation, go-live and closure.

You will manage project teams, vendors and stakeholders to deliver a secure, compliant and future-ready solution that improves efficiency, reduces risk and enhances employee experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading full lifecycle HRIS/payroll or ERP projects over $1M.
• Proven vendor-led implementation experience.
• Degree in Business/IT/PM.
• Formal PM certification (PMP/PRINCE2/Reg PM).
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of HRIS/payroll platform from planning to closure.
• Oversee project phases, procurement, implementation and go-live.
• Manage project teams, vendors and stakeholders.

The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of a new HRIS and payroll platform, overseeing all project phases from planning and procurement through to implementation, go-live and closure. Managing project teams, vendors and stakeholders, the role will deliver a secure, compliant and future-ready solution that improves efficiency, reduces risk and enhances employee experience.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience leading projects through the entire lifecycle from business case and procurement through to implementation and close-out
• Demonstrated success delivering large-scale HRIS, payroll, ERP or enterprise technology transformation projects exceeding $1 million
• Extensive experience managing complex vendor-led implementations
• Degree qualification in Business, Information Technology, Project Management or related discipline
• Formal project management certification such as Reg PM, PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent
