Job summary

Bundaberg Regional Council is recruiting multiple Senior Project Managers or Project Managers to join the Project Delivery Team in the Infrastructure Operations and Delivery Department. The roles focus on delivering a diverse Capital Works Program across infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time delivery.

One role emphasizes pre-construction planning and project development, while the other covers project development and delivery.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or QBCC licence.
• Diploma in Project Management or equivalent.
• Experience managing infrastructure, construction, or capital works projects.
• Experience in pre-construction activities including consultant engagement and design coordination.
• Ability to deliver projects within scope, budget, time, and risk parameters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all phases of project delivery from scoping to close-out.
• Manage budgets, schedules, risks, resources, and quality requirements.
• Administer contracts and delegated contractual responsibilities.
• Prepare and maintain progress reports and performance metrics.
• Provide expert technical advice aligned with Council standards and policies.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to enable project success.
• Contribute to PM framework, systems, and processes.
