Job summary

Downer Energy & Utilities seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale transmission line programs, drive safe and profitable project delivery, and build strong client relationships across Australia. You will mentor teams, oversee budgets and schedules, and support future tenders while ensuring Zero Harm culture on site.

Applicants should have engineering qualifications or equivalent experience, strong commercial acumen, and proven ability to manage dispersed teams.

• Strong commercial, financial and contract management capability.

• Experience in project planning, programming and execution.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of complex HV transmission line construction projects and portfolios.
• Managing project performance across safety, cost, quality, schedule and client satisfaction.
• Driving financial outcomes including revenue, EBIT, cash flow, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Providing leadership, coaching and development to multidisciplinary project teams.
• Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Supporting tender development, planning and execution strategies for future opportunities.
• Championing a strong Zero Harm culture across all project activities.
