Job summary

Downer is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major HV transmission line projects across our Energy & Utilities business. You will oversee delivery teams and drive safe, profitable and high-quality outcomes across Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney locations.

In this role you will manage project performance on safety, cost, schedule and client satisfaction, while developing strong client relationships and contributing to the growth of Downer's energy infrastructure portfolio.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong commercial, financial and contract management capability.
• Demonstrated success leading geographically dispersed project teams.
• Experience in project planning, programming and execution.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring capability.
• Well-developed communication, negotiation and decision-making skills.
• A commitment to safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• PMBOK and/or CPPD accreditation will be highly regarded.

Downer is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of major high voltage transmission line projects across our Energy and Utilities business.

The Opportunity

As the Senior Project Manager, you will oversee project delivery teams and be responsible for driving safe, profitable and high-quality project outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to lead large scale transmission line construction programs, build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued growth and success of our business. This role may be located Brisbane QLD, Melbourne VIC or Sydney, NSW.

Key responsibilities include:
