Job summary

Michael Page has an opportunity with a globally recognised multidisciplinary consultancy for a Senior Project Manager role in Melbourne. You will assist the Project Director, review design sufficiency, and coordinate across all disciplines to ensure effective project delivery on complex infrastructure and roads projects.

You will lead planning, cost control, and stakeholder engagement, applying formal change control and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• 20+ years total experience; 15+ years as Project Manager.
• Roads project experience required.
• Advanced English; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Director in running the project.
• Advise on design sufficiency and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with discipline managers and site leads.
• Develop and implement planning, supervision, and cost controls.
• Review and approve technical documents submitted by Contractors.
• Monitor progress and resource use; initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure deliverables meet standards and stakeholder requirements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and engagement strategies.
• Apply change control and configuration management processes.
• Report progress via highlight reports and end-stage assessments.
• Identify interdependencies with other projects.
