Job summary

Multiworks Australia seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead civil infrastructure delivery. Initial regional Queensland assignment with project completion targeted by March 2027, then permanent Melbourne posting within a growing portfolio.

Role requires 3+ years’ civil infra delivery, tertiary civil engineering qualifications, and strong client and subcontractor management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience delivering civil infrastructure projects.
• Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or Procore.
• Experience in client management and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Confident managing subcontractors, plant operations and utilisation.
• Strong knowledge of ground conditions and construction materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver programs, timelines and quality standards across the project.
• Assist project manager with construction team engagement, planning and execution.
• Administer contracts, including budget/program reporting, procurement and variation management.
• Manage client interfacing regarding technical queries, inspections, scheduling and deliverables.
• Maintain QA documentation and project records.
• Oversee and manage resources, including subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare project reporting (daily works, progress and costs).
• Ensure compliance with safety, QA and project specifications.
