CSG Talent is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of living, hotel, apartment, mixed-use, commercial and tertiary projects across Queensland. You will own projects from brief development through to handover, advising clients on procurement and delivery approaches while leading consultant and contractor teams.

You will mentor junior team members, build strong client relationships and represent the business at industry events to support growth, with a clear path

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Project Manager in client-side project management consultancy.
• Strong experience in living sectors such as hotels and apartments, plus commercial, retail or tertiary education experience is highly regarded.
• Experience delivering across procurement models including Head Contract, ECI, D&C, Managing Contractor and Construction Management.

• Lead the delivery of living, hotel, apartment, mixed-use, commercial, retail and tertiary projects across all phases, ensuring client objectives are met.
• Develop project briefs and implement procurement processes through to tender and award.
• Advise clients on the most suitable procurement strategy and contracting model, supported by clear and concise reporting.
• Manage the appointment and performance of consultant teams on behalf of clients.
• Prepare and manage programmes for design, procurement and construction.
• Oversee handover, including defect rectification and operational training where required.
• Mentor and support the development of junior team members.
• Represent the business at industry events and build new client relationships to support growth.

The Opportunity

Our client is a globally recognised property advisory firm with a well-established, high-performing projects team in Brisbane. Following continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of technically complex projects across Queensland.

This role suits a client-side Senior Project Manager with a strong background in living sectors such as hotels and apartments, alongside commercial, retail or tertiary education experience.

The Role

You will take ownership of projects from brief development through to handover, advising clients on the right procurement and delivery approach and leading consultant and contractor teams. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and building relationships that help grow the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of living, hotel, apartment, mixed-use, commercial, retail and tertiary projects across all phases, ensuring client objectives are met.
• Develop project briefs and implement procurement processes through to tender and award.
• Advise clients on the most suitable procurement strategy and contracting model, supported by clear and concise reporting.
• Manage the appointment and performance of consultant teams on behalf of clients.
• Prepare and manage programmes for design, procurement and construction.

About You

• Experience as a Senior Project Manager, preferably within a client-side project management consultancy.
• Strong experience in living sectors such as hotels, apartments, build to sell, build to rent, student accommodation or mixed‑use.
• Commercial, retail or tertiary education project experience is highly regarded.
• Experience delivering across a range of procurement models, including Head Contract, ECI, D&C, Managing Contractor and Construction Management.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience across all project stages from planning to handover.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build and grow client relationships.
• Tertiary qualifications in a property, construction or related discipline.
• A positive, team‑focused attitude and a genuine interest in contributing to a strong team culture.
