Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead service delivery across client assets in the Surat Basin, western Queensland. You will drive HSE leadership, client engagement and multi-discipline coordination to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget outcomes.

This role focuses on asset management, maintenance, turnaround and minor modification improvements, with leadership of a regional team and coordination of internal Wood resources and subcontractors to meet contract obligations.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification or equivalent in the energy industrial sector.
• Minimum 10 years of direct experience in Maintenance, Turnaround and Minor Modification contract management.
• Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills to lead a project team and report to senior management.
• Self-motivated and able to communicate with clients and contractors at all levels.
• Commitment to Wood values: trust, teamwork, respect, integrity, safety, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE leadership to Wood team and align with client expectations.
• Develop solid client relationships across multiple stakeholders and locations.
• Manage Wood maintenance personnel across client sites and ensure compliance with Wood processes.
• Oversee contract administration, KPI monitoring, risk registers, governance, and reporting.
• Governance and stewardship of all services delivered by Wood; proactive client communication.
• Support regional Maintenance Supervisors in work planning and execution.
• Promote Wood values and ensure work is planned and controlled per contract plans.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
