Job summary

Wood plc is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead service delivery across client assets in the Surat Basin, western Queensland. The role focuses on asset management, maintenance, turnaround and minor modification improvements, and provision of resources across electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and third-party support.

You will lead delivery excellence, manage scope, safety, schedule, cost and risk, and foster strong client relationships while guiding Wood personnel across

Qualifications

• Professional qualification or equivalent with energy industry experience.
• Minimum 10 years of direct experience in Maintenance, Turnaround and Minor Modification contract management.
• Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills to lead a project team and report to senior management.
• Self-motivated with clear communication with clients and contractors at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE leadership to Wood team and align with client expectations.
• Foster client relationships across stakeholders and locations.
• Manage Wood maintenance personnel across client sites ensuring effective execution.
• Oversee contract administration, KPI monitoring, risk register updates, governance and reporting.
• Governance and stewardship of services delivered by Wood with proactive stakeholder communication.
• Support regional Maintenance Supervisors in work execution planning.
• Promote and monitor Wood values and align with client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements of Wood and subcontractors.
• Support HR/IR management including dispute resolution and EA negotiations.
• Manage resourcing through Wood services, recruitment, onboarding and development.
• Ensure personnel are qualified and aware of role requirements.
• Ensure quality requirements meet business objectives.
• Recognise and reward performance and encourage innovation.
