Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CEDWW) invites applications for a Senior Project Manager to lead IT initiatives across 29 schools. You will steer resources, budgets, and schedules, delivering critical documentation and guiding business change to minimise disruption to learning.

The role requires experience with both traditional and agile methodologies, strong communication, and a track record in software procurement and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management and/or business analysis in IT environments.
• Strong experience with traditional and agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage delivery, risks, timelines and outcomes.
• Experience eliciting and managing business requirements from diverse stakeholders.
• Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools or willingness to achieve.
• Current NSW Driver's Licence and NSW Working With Children Check; National Criminal History Check.

Your New Role

As the Senior Project Manager, you will lead the full project lifecycle for IT initiatives supporting 29 schools across the Diocese. You will be responsible for managing resources, budgets, and timelines while overseeing the end-to-end delivery of critical documentation and business change management to ensure minimal disruption to student learning.

Beyond individual projects, you will drive the strategic evolution of our IT landscape by refining delivery frameworks and managing a project portfolio aligned with CEDWW’s long-term goals. Acting as a key collaborator, you will bridge the gap between technical teams, vendors, and end-users to ensure innovative solutions are successfully adopted across our educational community.

What We Can Offer

Full-Time Permanent Position

35-Hour Work Week

Role to commence as soon as possible or by mutual agreement

Salary: Grade 8 - Starting at $125, 800 per annum plus superannuation

A degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of industry qualifications and experience.

Training and certification in recognised project management and business analysis methodologies and standards.

At least 5 years of experience in project management and/or business analysis in an information technology environment.

A sound understanding and experience with traditional and agile methodologies.

Demonstrated ability to manage project delivery, risks, timelines and outcomes.

Experience in the elicitation and management of business requirements from diverse stakeholder groups.

Strong written and verbal communication, as well as demonstrated experience managing complex business change outcomes.

Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools - Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga or willing to achieve.

Current Drivers Licence

CurrentNSW Working With Children Check

Successful candidate will undergo a National Criminal History Check

Training and certification in recognised business change management methodologies.

Experience in software sourcing and procurement processes, including Request For Proposal/Quote/Tender, vendor evaluation and selection.
