Job summary

Downer Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex water and wastewater infrastructure programs across Southeast Queensland, with responsibility for Logan's Water Network and capital works across treatment, network and sustainability portfolios.

You will lead projects from cradle to grave, mentor multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and procurement strategies, and build strong client and stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced, safety‑driven environment within a mature,

Qualifications

• Engineering qualifications with extensive experience in civil infrastructure project delivery.
• Water industry experience is preferable
• Project Management certification and RPEQ (or willingness to obtain).
• Proven leadership in dynamic, service-oriented contracting environments.
• Strong communication, analytical, planning, and budgeting skills.

This leadership role focuses on Logan’s Water Network, overseeing capital works across theTreatment, Network, and Sustainability portfolios.

You’ll lead projectsfrom cradle to grave, collaborating closely with planning, design, scheduling, cost, commissioning, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless execution and long‑term success.

This is amature, long‑term program of workswith a strong focus onsustainability. You’ll be part of a high‑performing team driving civil construction initiatives including treatment plants, network upgrades, asset renewals, and flagship sustainable energy projects.
