Job summary

Bluestonerecruitment is seeking a Senior Project Manager or Project Director to lead the refurbishment arm on projects up to $20M across NSW and QLD. You will oversee the delivery of complex works, manage budgets and cost reporting, and maintain strong client relationships.

The role emphasises mentoring, team leadership, design and consultant management, plus monthly reporting to construction managers and directors.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering refurbishment/construction projects up to $20M.
• Background in commercial/education sectors with refurbishment focus.

• Strong client relationships and communication skills.

My client is a well-established commercial builder who specialise in construction and refurbishment projects across the defence, education and commercial sectors operating in both NSW and QLD on projects up to $40M.

Due to a growth in workload they are looking for a Senior Project Manager or Project Director to join the refurbishment arm of the business leading and mentoring project teams on refurbs up to $20M.

About to the role

As Senior project manager you will be responsible for the overall delivery of construction projects with duties including:

• Management of project budget and cost reports.


• Client management and running PCG's.


• Mentoring of Project Managers and relevant site staff


• Management of site team and contract administrator.


• Design and consultant management.


• Present monthly project reports to construction managers and directors.


• Team leadership and mentoring of junior staff


• New business and ECI support

About You

You will ideally have experience working on commercial or education projects in a Project Manager with multiple successful projects under your belt ideally with a keen eye for complex refurbishment projects.
