Job summary

3D Recruitment is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a long-established South East Suburbs builder. You will take ownership of commercial projects from contract award through to practical completion, leading project teams and managing client relationships.

You will oversee budgets, procurement, reporting and cash flow, ensure safety and quality, and mentor junior staff. A strong track record on $5m–$25m projects and familiarity with AS2124/AS4000 are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or PM with Tier 2/3 builder.
• Track record delivering projects in the $5m–$25m range.
• Strong contract administration experience (AS2124/AS4000).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Building or Engineering (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of projects from award to practical completion and defects.
• Manage budgets, cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Oversee contract administration, variations, EOTs, progress claims and payment schedules.
• Lead, mentor and develop Project Managers, Contract Administrators and Site Managers.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation and performance.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Ensure programme, safety, quality and compliance at all stages.

THE ROLE

YOU

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 commercial builder
• Track record delivering projects in the $5m - $25m range
• Strong commercial acumen and contract administration experience (AS2124 / AS4000)
• Confident leading project teams and managing client relationships
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Building or Engineering highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
