Premier Services Group Victoria in Melbourne, VIC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from conception through to completion. You will manage client relationships, coordinate subcontractors and internal teams, maintain project documentation, monitor costs and safety compliance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in construction project management with success across diverse projects.
  • Strong planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost control skills.
  • Knowledge of construction methodologies, fire standards and codes.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule and coordinate all aspects of construction projects to meet budgets.
  • Manage project teams including subcontractors and suppliers to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation such as contracts, drawings, specs and change orders.
  • Monitor costs, budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and stakeholders for clear communication throughout the lifecycle.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality audits for codes and regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, create contingency plans, address issues promptly.
  • Prepare progress reports for senior management and clients.
  • Ensure health and safety standards on sites.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff.

Premier Services Group Victoria is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Melbourne, VIC. This is a full-time position based in Melbourne, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee complex construction projects from conception through to completion. As a Project Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is pivotal to our organisation's success and will see you managing existing clients, new projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring all project deliverables align with our strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities
  • Planning, scheduling and coordinating all aspects of construction projects to ensure timely completion within approved budgets
  • Managing project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers and internal staff, to maintain productivity and quality standards
  • Developing and maintaining project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications and change orders
  • Monitoring project costs, managing budgets and identifying cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality
  • Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and expectation management throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conducting site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant building codes and regulations
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, developing contingency plans and addressing issues promptly
  • Preparing progress reports and project documentation for senior management and clients
  • Ensuring all work sites maintain health and safety standards in compliance with relevant legislation
  • Mentoring and developing junior project staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
What we are looking for
  • 5+ years' experience in construction project management, with demonstrated success managing projects of varying complexity and scale
  • Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost control within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, Fire standards, regulations and best‑practice project management standards
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience managing client relationships at all levels
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
