Premier Services Group Victoria in Melbourne, VIC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from conception through to completion. This full-time role is based in Melbourne and focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate teams, monitor costs and maintain project documentation, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in construction project management.
• Expertise in planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, Fire standards and building regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Hold a valid driver's license and travel to sites as required.

Responsabilités

• Planning, scheduling and coordinating all construction project aspects to meet budgets.

• Maintaining project documentation: contracts, drawings, specs and change orders.

About the role

Premier Services Group Victoria is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Melbourne, VIC. This is a full-time position based in Melbourne, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee complex construction projects from conception through to completion. As a Project Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is pivotal to our organisation's success and will see you managing existing clients, new projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring all project deliverables align with our strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Planning, scheduling and coordinating all aspects of construction projects to ensure timely completion within approved budgets
• Managing project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers and internal staff, to maintain productivity and quality standards
• Developing and maintaining project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications and change orders
• Monitoring project costs, managing budgets and identifying cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and expectation management throughout the project lifecycle
• Conducting site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant building codes and regulations
• Identifying and mitigating project risks, developing contingency plans and addressing issues promptly
• Preparing progress reports and project documentation for senior management and clients
• Ensuring all work sites maintain health and safety standards in compliance with relevant legislation
• Mentoring and developing junior project staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• 5+ years' experience in construction project management, with demonstrated success managing projects of varying complexity and scale
• Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and cost control within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, Fire standards, regulations and best‑practice project management standards
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience managing client relationships at all levels
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Current driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
