Job summary

KIT Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Stores / POS workstream within a major technology program in Australia. You will own planning, delivery, governance, risks, dependencies and stakeholder management across a complex environment.

The role centers on delivering an Omni-channel store solution in collaboration with the vendor, ensuring scope, quality and timelines are met while engaging senior stakeholders across business, technology and vendor teams.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the Stores / POS workstream within a major technology program supporting the transition and implementation of recent acquisitions

This is a senior delivery role operating within a complex program environment, with significant responsibility for managing technology vendors and ensuring the successful delivery of store-based solution components.

The Role

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will take ownership of the Stores workstream, providing strong project leadership across planning, delivery, governance, risks, dependencies and stakeholder management.

A key component of the program will be the delivery of an Omni-channel store solution, working closely with the vendor so excellent stakeholder management is essential. You will be responsible for ensuring the vendors solution components are delivered to the required scope, quality and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Stores / POS workstream within a larger technology transformation program.
• Manage technology vendors, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, milestones, quality and dependencies.
• Manage senior stakeholders across business, technology, program and vendor teams.
• Establish and maintain strong project governance, reporting, RAID management and delivery plans.
• Identify and manage complex dependencies across stores, POS, applications, integrations and broader program workstreams.
• Provide clear communication and delivery leadership within a complex and evolving environment.

About You

You will be a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a strong track record delivering complex technology initiatives, ideally within retail, stores, POS, omni-channel or customer-facing technology environments.

You will bring:
