Wood seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead service delivery on a major client site in the Surat Basin, western Queensland. The role focuses on asset management, maintenance, turnaround and minor modification improvements, and coordinating electrical/instrumentation/mechanical support across sites.

We are recruiting a dynamic and result-driven Senior Project Manager with strong focus on service delivery throughout a significant client site within the Surat Basin of western Queensland.
Ideally based in the Surat Basin, this role will provide leadership in the implementation of asset management and strategic Maintenance, Turnaround and Minor Modification improvements, and lead, develop and maintain efficient and effective service resources for all electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and third-party support for the client assets throughout the Surat Basin.

The key objectives for this role are:
Champion safe and quality work practices across all services through authentic communication and verification of compliance in field. Leading by example, promoting, demonstrating and supporting safe working practices in all activities
Foster and establish solid client relationships across multiple stakeholder groups and locations, from senior management, procurement to operational superintendents.
Coach, guide and mentor direct reports fostering career development. Actively participating in regular performance reviews and ensure performance reviews are carried out across all teams.
Management of Wood maintenance personnel across client based operational sites, ensuring that Wood regional management execute work effectively applying applicable Wood processes and regulatory requirements through evidenced based verification
Overseeing all contract administration, management and support functions, including:
KPI monitoring and production
Risk register update and review
Contract governance, compliance and assurance
Management, maintenance and assurance of all contract management plans
Contract reporting
Commercially astute, ensuring contractual compliance and where required lead contract negotiations engaging internal and external stakeholders to achieve win / win outcome.
Financial management across a variety of commercial models including reimbursable, profit at risk and lump sum. Ensures effective, accurate and timely invoicing and cash collection to minimise DSO impact.
Governance and stewardship of all services delivered by Wood, including proactive management and communication to relevant internal and client stakeholders
Support regional Maintenance Supervisors in work execution planning
Promoting and monitoring Wood core values, and alignment with client values ensuring that work is executed and controlled by working in a planned and systematic manner in accordance with the Contract management plans, and subordinate procedures including client requirements
Ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements of all products and services under management of Wood or their approved subcontractor(s)
Proactive and effective support the management of site HR / IR, including ability to amicably resolve disputes and support EA negotiations
Management of resourcing through internal Wood services including recruitment, onboarding, retention, development and performance management
Ensuring that all Wood personnel are suitably qualified, given clear definition of the working responsibilities, and are fully acquainted with their specific role requirements
Ensuring that quality requirements are clearly understood and are effective in meeting business objectives

Professional qualification Or Equivalent with relevant and considerable experience in the energy industrial sector
Minimum 10 years of direct experience in Maintenance, Turnaround and Minor Modification contract management.
Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organise and lead a project team, develop design / implementation schedules and provide on-going status reports to the senior management team and clients.
Self-motivated and able to clearly communicate with Client and contractors at all levels.
