Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking a Delivery Support Engineer to assist in managing project resources, consultants and contractors to deliver civil road and bridge projects on time and within budget. You will contribute to the project management plan, coordinate internal and external expertise, and help ensure governance, risk and quality are integrated into delivery.

Experience in workload management and collaboration across teams is preferred; a Diploma in Project Management is required, civil

Job description

• Support the Delivery Engineer in managing project resources, consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure appropriate capability, effective utilisation, and the successful delivery of project scope within approved timeframes and budgets.
• Contribute to a strong project management culture and assist in the development and implementation of the overall project management plan, including integration, scope, stakeholder engagement, communications, schedule, risk, cost, procurement, quality and governance.
• Identify, engage and coordinate the necessary internal and external technical expertise to meet project requirements, including the procurement and management of consultants, contractors and specialist service providers, under the direction of the Delivery Engineer.

Requirements of the role

• Proven capability in workload management, leveraging team skills and experience to consistently meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate well with others and contribute to the team's success.
• Sound understanding of project management principles, methodology and practice, to apply relevant knowledge, skills and technical expertise to road and/or bridge construction at varying levels of complexity, to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Diploma in Project Management.
• Civil Engineering degree – desirable
• Previous studies or experience in an engineering field.
• Demonstrated supervisory or management experience in the civil industry
