Job summary

The Lorian Group is seeking a Senior Client-Side Project Manager to join their Brisbane-based boutique project management consultancy. You will lead end-to-end projects, taking ownership of client relationships while coordinating with main contractors during the build phase.

Client is boutique project management business based in Brisbane. They are locally owned business and well known and respected business in the sector proud of their reputation for high quality work and for winning majority of their work through either referrals or repeat work.

They are looking to engage a Senior Project Manager to join the business.

Your new role

The role is traditional client-side project management. End to end, but the Senior staff do tend to need to do more of the heavy lifting managing the main contractor during the build phase and acting as a Super's Rep.

Role is senior level role so requires someone that is able to comfortably manage their own projects including managing client relationships while also supporting and mentoring some of the junior members of the team.

Projects mixed. Some retail, hospitality, some education, plus commercial and occasional industrial.

What you'll need to succeed

Client is looking to engage a Senior Client-Side Project Manager with significant experience of working with similar organisation in Southeast Queensland. Preference would be networked individual that has some strong networks and relations with clients, contractors, and consultancies locally.

Tertiary qualification in construction is definitely preferred but generally speaking they are looking for a high-quality construction consultant, with strong demonstrable experience of delivering projects in southeast Queensland. They need someone with outstanding stakeholder skills allied to a great work ethic and a real desire to deliver quality product and exceed clients' expectations.

Good tenure would be preferred as would relevant sector experience.
