Job summary

Manpower Australia in Adelaide seeks an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead the delivery of complex engineering programs in a regulated environment. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, risk, governance and safety with a focus on technical excellence.

Responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary teams, managing suppliers and subcontractors, delivering clear reporting, and mentoring engineers to build capability for high-impact programs in defence, maritime, or aerospace

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Formal project management and/or systems engineering qualifications desirable.
• Proven experience delivering complex engineering projects in defence, maritime, aerospace, infrastructure, mining, or similarly regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver project outcomes.
• Manage engineering scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
• Ensure activities comply with governance, quality, and safety requirements.
• Oversee subcontractors and external engineering resources.
• Develop project recovery strategies where required.
• Mentor, coach, and develop engineering personnel.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver clear and accurate project reporting.
