Job summary

Downer Group is seeking a Project Engineering Manager for Power Projects (QLD) to drive HV transmission, BESS and substation programs. Based in Milton, QLD, you will oversee Site and Project Engineers, coordinate resources, and lead bids and project delivery with a focus on safety and quality.

You bring a strong engineering leadership background, experience in HV transmission or substations, and the ability to mentor teams while delivering high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; chartered status highly desirable.
• Proven experience in project-based business with HV power transmission or substations.

Responsibilities

• Coach and lead Site & Project Engineers; manage resource requirements.
• Provide technical or quality support for projects and bids.
• Create a client-focused team to understand and fulfil client needs.
• Promote Zero Harm and safe project execution.
