Job summary

Downer is seeking a Construction Manager to lead site-based teams across South Australia, delivering high voltage substation projects. Based in Underdale, you will manage the full construction lifecycle, coordinate resources, and ensure safety and quality in a live project environment.

You will support tender development and constructability reviews, while driving stakeholder engagement with clients and subcontractors to meet program and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Diploma in Project Management is highly regarded.
• Extensive experience in construction management within HV electrical infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead field teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong capability in resource planning, subcontractor management and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based teams and coordinate resources to deliver works safely and on program.
• Ensure works meet safety, quality and environmental standards on live HV projects.
• Support tender development and constructability reviews for ongoing deliveries.
• Deliver major transmission, substation, renewable energy and grid infrastructure projects across South Australia.
