Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Project Officer to support the Far West precinct, ensuring effective delivery of road maintenance and construction activities in Broken Hill and surrounding areas. This role collaborates with Project Services West to standardise data and processes and may involve field surveillance to verify compliance with project requirements.

The position requires suitable qualifications or extensive experience in project management within infrastructure, with a valid NSW

Qualifications

Appropriate trade or tertiary qualifications or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience in project management or road maintenance and construction.
An understanding of the RMCC.
Knowledge and/or experience in roadworks surveillance practices.
Experience interpreting environmental, quality and safety requirements within infrastructure projects.
Strong project management and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

Support the development of projects and delivery of road maintenance and construction activities in Far Western NSW.
Cooperate with Project Services West teams to deliver comparable data and process consistency in the delivery of project outcomes.
Undertake surveillance activities when required, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with standards, specifications and project requirements.
