Job summary

Lendlease is seeking multiple Senior Project Engineers to join our NSW projects, delivering large-scale construction with focus on safety, quality and collaboration. You will manage subcontractors, develop schedules, procurements, and value engineering to ensure on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field, 5–7 years of experience, and proven ability to read drawings, coordinate teams, and travel to site locations around NSW.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in planning, executing, and closing out construction projects.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings and specifications for constructability and compliance.
• Monitor and track project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, identifying potential delays or cost overruns.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Participate in project meetings, contributing technical expertise and problem-solving solutions.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures on site.
• Assist in the procurement process, including evaluating bids and managing vendor relationships.
