Job summary

Lendlease is recruiting multiple Project Engineers to support long-term NSW construction projects. Based in Sydney CBD or Glendenning, you will manage trade subcontractors, develop schedules, oversee procurement, and ensure quality and safety on site.

You will engage with clients and internal teams to coordinate design, procurement, and cost control, contributing to delivery milestones and value engineering across large-scale building projects in NSW.

Qualifications

• Ideally 3 to 5 years' experience in the construction industry.
• Previous on-site construction delivery experience, looking after building fitouts.
• Degree qualification in a relevant field of study (Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management etc).
• Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• High attention to detail, excellent organisational and time management skills with problem solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage medium and short-range construction programs.
• Design management and coordination.
• Client management and liaison.
• Procurement of tender packages and preparation of subcontract agreements.
• Review and sign-off of subcontractor claims and variations.
• Preparation of cost forecasts and manage cost controls/reporting for designated work areas.
• Implementation of project EHS and quality plans and project management plan requirements.

We are currently recruiting multiple Project Engineers to join our team in NSW and support the delivery of multiple long-term projects in NSW. In this position, you will play an integral role in managing trade subcontractors and suppliers to deliver a successful construction project. This includes developing and maintaining construction programs, implementing the procurement strategy, value engineering, managing quality and ensuring high levels of Health and Safety at all times.
