Job summary

ABI Civil Contractors is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our project delivery team in the Hunter Region. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of key project packages, manage subcontractors and stakeholders, and drive safe, quality infrastructure delivery across major civil works.

You'll demonstrate proven experience in senior or project engineer roles within civil construction, with strong forecasting, cost control and delivery capabilities.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our project delivery team in the Hunter Region.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major civil infrastructure projects across the Hunter Region.

The role will see you take ownership of key project packages, manage subcontractors and stakeholders, contribute to commercial outcomes and support the project team to safely deliver quality infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project engineering activities and drive project outcomes.

Manage subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.

Monitor programme, costs, quality and project performance.

Support contract administration, procurement and project reporting.

Mentor Project Engineers and contribute to continuous improvement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
