Metso Corporation seeks a Senior Project Engineer in Australia to lead crushing-plant projects and conveyor systems. You will design layouts, develop 3D models, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across global sites.

Expect extensive travel, strong collaboration with sales and field teams, and adherence to local and international standards while delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in the mining industry, focused on material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects for crushing plants and conveyor belt systems.
• Design layouts for silos, hoppers, transfer towers, and equipment.
• Develop 3D engineering models using AutoCAD 3D, Inventor 3D and Tekla.
• Coordinate designers and engineers to ensure technical alignment.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to meet project goals.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
