Multicultural Consulting Services Pty in Western Australia seeks a lead civil or electrical construction engineer to oversee a major solar development in the Pilbara region. You will report to area leadership and coordinate engineering interfaces, construction performance and junior engineers.

The role requires a Civil or Electrical Engineering degree, 5–8+ years of experience, and a track record managing complex packages.

• Engineering bachelor degree in Civil or Electrical (or equivalent) with EA membership eligibility.
• 5–8+ years in civil construction, electrical infrastructure, renewables or major projects.
• Track record managing complex civil or electrical packages.
• Strong construction methods, contracts and project controls knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Manage earthworks, piling and HV/MV reticulation, substations and solar array scopes.
• Track budgets, schedules, costs and delivery risks.
• Resolve technical and constructability issues.
• Prepare work scopes, estimates, methods and project documentation.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Support procurement, subcontract administration and quality compliance.
• Mentor engineers and site teams.

The Opportunity

Lead civil or electrical construction engineering packages on a major solar development in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. Reporting to area leadership, you will coordinate engineering interfaces, construction performance and junior engineers.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage earthworks, piling and access roads or HV/MV reticulation, substations and solar array scopes.
• Track budgets, schedules, costs and delivery risks.
• Resolve technical and constructability issues.
• Prepare work scopes, estimates, methods and project documentation.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Support procurement, subcontract administration and quality compliance.
• Mentor engineers and site teams.

RequirementsSkills, Education And Requirements

• An Engineering bachelor degree in Civil or Electrical, or equivalent, with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
• Five to eight or more years in civil construction, electrical infrastructure, renewables or major projects.
• A track record managing complex civil or electrical packages.
• Strong construction methods, contracts and project controls knowledge.
• Leadership, commercial judgement and project-system proficiency; Primavera P6 is desirable.
• Current Australian work rights.
