Job summary

Link-Force Australia seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead civil and concrete structure projects in Sydney, taking ownership from planning through to delivery and close-out. Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil infrastructure or structural construction works, ideally involving FRP, concrete structures or bridges.
• Strong commercial awareness and practical experience with cost control, procurement, progress claims and variations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and an understanding of construction sequencing and methodologies.
• Confidence dealing directly with Tier 1 clients, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Strong organisation, clear communication and attention to project documentation.
• Ability to work independently, identify issues early and follow them through to resolution.
• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction methods and temporary works methodologies
• Prepare and maintain construction programmes using Microsoft Project
• Monitor project costs, quantities, labour productivity and progress against programme and budget
• Prepare and submit progress claims, assist with variations and maintain supporting records
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site crews, including procurement of reinforcement, formwork, concrete and other materials
• Review site timesheets and labour allocations, and review and approve supplier and subcontractor invoices
• Manage RFIs, technical queries, ITPs, hold points and inspection documentation
• Carry out site inspections to ensure works meet drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Maintain accurate project records, daily reports and cost information
• Work closely with clients and the project team to resolve issues and keep delivery on track

Link-Force Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their client's construction team in Sydney. This role suits a practical, commercially aware engineer who can take ownership of a work package from planning and procurement through to site delivery, progress claims and close-out. Experience in FRP, concrete structures, bridges or major civil infrastructure will be highly regarded. Working directly with Tier 1 clients, supervisors, subcontractors and project management teams, you'll coordinate day-to-day works while keeping control of programme, costs and quality. The role offers an approximately even split between office and site, depending on project demands.
