Job summary

Sime Industrial is undergoing a multi-year ERP transformation to modernise its operations and improve both customer and employee experiences. We are seeking a Senior Project Coordinator in South Brisbane to coordinate schedules, governance, reporting, risks and stakeholder activities across the program.

You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders, bring structure to complexity, and support delivery across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a large, complex project/program environment.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and tight timeframes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Program Scheduler to maintain an integrated delivery plan across the Avanti Program.
• Manage schedules, risks, dependencies and actions to keep workstreams on track.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, project teams and delivery partners.
• Support workshops, meetings and program forums, ensuring actions and outcomes are progressed.
• Provide high-quality project coordination, analysis and reporting to support program decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve project processes and ways of working across the program.
• Collaborate across teams to influence outcomes and drive delivery through others.

To deliver this, we have established a multi-year ERP transformation program focused on simplifying, standardising, and strengthening the way we operate across our Caterpillar dealerships.

The Program Team are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator, based in South Brisbane, to support the successful delivery of this enterprise-wide initiative by coordinating schedules, governance, reporting, risks, dependencies and stakeholder activities across the program.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced project environment, enjoys bringing structure to complexity, and is motivated by working with a diverse range of stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:

As a Senior Project Coordinator, reporting to the Manager - Project Support Office, you will:

• Assist the Senior Program Scheduler to maintain an integrated and reliable delivery plan, including project activities, governance and reporting across the Avanti Program.
• Manage schedules, risks, dependencies and actions to keep workstreams aligned and on track.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, project teams and delivery partners.
• Support workshops, meetings and program forums, ensuring actions and outcomes are progressed.
• Provide high-quality project coordination, analysis and reporting to support program decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve project processes, planning practices and ways of working across the program.
• Work collaboratively across business and project teams to influence outcomes and drive delivery through others.
