Job summary

The candidate must be a graduate with an architecture and/or masters degree and possess 8–10 years of experience, including 3–4 years local. The role involves project leadership, design development, documentation and liaison with authorities, with flexible flextime options discussed.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken, written and drawing communication skills (essential).
• Working knowledge of local construction standards and practices (essential).
• Architects Registration (preferred).
• Proof of right to work in Australia (essential).

Responsibilities

• Project leadership and project initiation.
• Design responsibility and space planning.
• Client and sub-consultant liaison.
• Taking briefs and developing strategies to complete the project.
• Design development.
• Documentation for pricing, construction and certification.
• Liaising with authorities and contractors during all stages of the project.
• Auditing of existing buildings.
• Drafting.
