Job summary

L3Harris Australia (Integrated Mission Systems Australia) is seeking a Senior Program Scheduler to lead and maintain complex program schedules for defence projects in Fremantle. You will work with Program Managers and a cross-functional team to ensure delivery against scope, schedule and budget while driving process improvements.

The role requires a degree in a relevant discipline, project management training, and experience with Earned Value and Open Plan Professional.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the program schedule on behalf of Program Managers.

• Assist in maturing PMO services in line with changing business needs.

About The Role

The primary tasks of a Senior Program Scheduler is to create and maintain the program schedule on behalf of the Program Managers in collaboration with the program team.

The position involves overseeing large-scale complex program/s scheduling activities, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, and budget while driving continuous improvement in systems and processes. The Senior Program Scheduler will actively communicate and collaborate within and beyond their functional area to secure alignment, resolve challenges, and gain cooperation on all matters relating to the programs schedule. Responsibilities also include assisting the Program Manager to continuously improve, mature and extend the PMO services in-line with changing business needs.

About You

• Degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent Performance Management system training experience
• Project Management training or equivalent experience
• Experience in Earned Value Performance management methods
• Experience with Open Plan Professtional software tool
• Knowledge of Defence Program Management practices, desirable
