Job summary

University of Sydney seeks a Senior Program Project Officer (Targeted) on a part-time 0.6 FTE fixed-term position until June 2028. Location flexible with travel to Lismore, focusing on WellMob Aboriginal-led digital mental health initiatives.

You will design training resources, coordinate projects, engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and support evaluation, with a strong emphasis on culturally safe workforce development and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander SEWB concepts and services.
• Experience creating training/workforce development initiatives.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with online platforms.
• Ability to build respectful relationships with Indigenous communities.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver workforce development initiatives for SEWB resources.
• Create culturally responsive learning materials for health professionals.
• Engage stakeholders to identify workforce needs and develop solutions.
• Coordinate projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Promote training opportunities and assist stakeholder engagement.
• Support research and evaluation for continuous improvement.
• Foster partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
