Job summary

University of Sydney seeks a Senior Program Project Officer (Targeted) for the University Centre for Rural Health in Lismore. The role leads development of training resources to empower frontline workers and strengthen SEWB outcomes in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Flexible location with travel is required. The position emphasises strong project management, stakeholder collaboration, and culturally safe practice within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering workforce development initiatives.
• Experience creating culturally responsive training materials.
• Ability to engage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver workforce development initiatives for SEWB resources.
• Create practical, culturally responsive learning resources and training materials.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify workforce needs and develop solutions.
• Coordinate projects and ensure deliverables meet timelines and standards.
• Promote training opportunities across multiple platforms.
• Support research and evaluation for continuous improvement.
