Job summary

The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing in Victoria seeks a Principal Program Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering major social and affordable housing initiatives as part of the Big Housing Build and related programs.

You will oversee program investment, funding approvals, and governance, collaborating with stakeholders across government, industry and community partners to realise strategic housing objectives.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively build and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach. Identify emerging opportunities, issues, risk and trends and bring together partners to agree on and implement solutions to issues.
• Provide leadership, guidance and authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders, deal effectively with a broad range of people and sensitive issues, work across multiple projects and multi-disciplinary teams to meet emerging pressures and demands, as required.
• Synthesise information from a range of sources, analyse and communicate both quantitative and qualitative information so that it is understood by different audiences.
