Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a skilled Program Financial Analyst to drive financial performance across a portfolio of IT projects. You will partner with program teams, deliver decision-ready cost analyses and support budgeting and forecasting activities to enable strategic decisions.

You will contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, with a strong emphasis on governance, risk assessment and partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Delivery and Operations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build strong business partnerships and manage diverse stakeholders across functions and geographies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities and deliver outcomes within deadlines.
• Strong experience in financial management, reporting and governance, with a track record of supporting project delivery teams and program success.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience working in a global business environment, ideally with financial systems such as CostPoint, OAC or OBI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with program and project teams to provide strategic financial advice aligned to goals and commitments.
• Provide cost analysis, scenario modelling and risk assessment for proactive financial management.
• Lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis for senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with program and project teams, and stakeholders across finance, delivery and operations to provide strategic financial advice aligned to operational goals and contractual commitments.
• Provide decision support through cost analysis, scenario modelling and risk assessment to enable proactive financial management.
• Lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis, translating data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Support budgeting and forecasting by leveraging historical trends and performance metrics to guide planning and resource allocation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems.
