Your New Role And Responsibilities

Opportunity available for a Project Manager to join our team, delivering complex projects within a dynamic enterprise environment. This role focuses on achieving successful outcomes through effective people leadership, structured governance, strong customer engagement, and sound commercial and financial management.

This role will have you managing a team of skilled technical team members, supporting their delivery outcomes, maintaining team alignment, and managing key customer relationships. You will collaborate across technical, commercial, finance and leadership teams to manage delivery activities, coordinate resources and support contract obligations.

The role is suited to a proactive and self-starting Project Manager who is comfortable working under limited guidance, seeking clarity where required, and driving actions through to completion in a busy multi-stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project delivery, including managing activities, coordinating resources, and facilitating project and financial meetings
• Lead, support and guide a team of skilled technical team members, promoting collaboration, accountability and connection to Leidos processes, expectations and support channels.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring expectations relating to Leidos resources, support and commercial obligations are understood and effectively managed.
• Lead contract management activities, including scope tracking, contract obligations, change requests, renewals, customer updates and internal approvals.
• Deliver financial management and governance activities, including budget tracking, forecasting, billing inputs, cost visibility, financial reporting and variance commentary.
• Maintain key project and resource artefacts such as resource plans, staffing trackers, financial inputs, registers, governance material and reporting documentation.
• Proactively identify people, commercial, financial and coordination risks, escalating early and supporting practical resolution.

About You And What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience in Project Management within complex environments
• Previous experience leading, supporting and guiding technical teams with a strong focus on people management, team engagement and stakeholder coordination
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and inclusive approach
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail across project planning and delivery activities
• Proven experience managing schedules, budgets, and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
• Analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to navigate delivery challenges effectively

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline level security clearance.
