Job summary

The Australian Electoral Commission in Canberra invites applications for the role of Assistant Director, FAD Program Delivery and Agile Planning. You will lead the FAD Reform Program’s delivery, coordinating end-to-end activities to ensure work is prioritized, planned and delivered on scope, time and budget.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex projects, programs or business transformation initiatives.
• Experience coordinating large-scale ICT-enabled change or regulatory reform programs using agile delivery.
• Ability to monitor program performance and manage risks, issues, dependencies and priorities.
• Ability to prepare clear and concise executive briefs, governance papers and program documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to build productive stakeholder relationships and provide evidence-based advice.
• Ability to work in complex environments with sound judgement, accountability and collaboration.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify improvement opportunities and support evidence-based decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate delivery across the FAD Reform Program, ensuring scope, schedule and budget alignment.
• Develop integrated delivery plans and align work streams, managing interdependencies.
• Monitor delivery performance, risks, issues and resource requirements.
• Utilize Azure DevOps and related tools to support planning, tracking and reporting.
• Promote consistent delivery management practices and governance across the program.
