Job summary

Downer is leading Agile transformation for a major Defence Digital Group program in Canberra. The Agile Lead coaches delivery teams, partners with Product Owners and leadership, and drives maturity across large-scale ICT delivery.

You will enable SAFe practices, facilitate ceremonies and ensure predictable outcomes while maintaining an inclusive, high-performing culture within a government environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Agile product delivery in ICT environments.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and enabling high-performing teams.
• Experience delivering outcomes in complex ICT programs using SAFe ARTs.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor agile teams in principles, practices and ways of working.
• Facilitate PI Planning, iteration planning, reviews, retrospectives and alignment sessions.
• Identify and remove delivery impediments, manage dependencies and ensure smooth flow of work.
• Develop and maintain delivery metrics and reporting to improve predictability and maturity.
• Foster collaboration across teams, stakeholders and governance forums for successful delivery.
• Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and action tracking.
• Support Product Owners with prioritisation and delivery transparency.
• Drive effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to agile capability uplift through mentoring and Communities of Practice.
