Job summary

Randstad in Ipswich, QLD, is seeking an autonomous, senior AM Shift Production Manager to lead pre-cast and pre-stress concrete operations. The role drives KPIs, manages 20+ operators, and ensures safety and quality in a high-risk manufacturing environment.

You will oversee production planning from 5:00 am to 2:00 pm, coordinate multiple teams, and maintain high-value assets like molds. Australian working rights are required; relocation support is available for exceptional candidates.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in materials manufacturing, especially pre-cast/pre-stress concrete.
• Experience leading 20+ operators in a high-stress manufacturing environment.
• Trade qualification or Certificate III/IV in Engineering with hands-on manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production plans for the AM shift (5:00 am – 2:00 pm) to meet targets autonomously.
• Lead and allocate work across multiple teams, overseeing 20+ operators in large beam production.
• Supervise use and maintenance of high-value assets, including molds and materials.
• Record production output, downtime, rejects and rework, and report KPIs to management.
