Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience on database platforms with software application packages.
• Strong background in financial services technology, especially fixed income and equity instruments.
• At least 2 years hands-on with the company's investment management system.
• Proficiency in SQL and database administration, programming, and SQL development.
• Understanding of OS principles, data structures, and three-tier architecture; exposure to object-oriented programming languages.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clients maximize use of products through system configuration, DB administration, batch processing, performance tuning, and system integration testing with external vendors.
• Identify and test workarounds for software issues; perform root-cause analysis and provide training; maintain logs of customer interactions.
• Follow standard procedures, conduct research, and document findings; collaborate with team and vendors to deliver next-generation infrastructure.
